Cancer Management Program
 

Strategic Health has created a NEW Cancer Management Program, comprised of the premier oncology facilities in the United States. The Cancer Management Program is comprised of providers who are concerned with delivering the highest quality of care to patients, while taking a proactive approach to cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment through excellence in basic and clinical research.

Cancer is one of the most prevalent diseases in today's society. Treatment can be very costly with uncertain outcomes. Patients, physicians and payors need updated information to make critical decisions in a well-informed and timely manner.

Essential Components: The Network

The essential component of this program is the selective contracting with facilities and their staffs with national and international reputations for excellence in specific areas of oncology treatment and services. The Strategic Health Cancer Program provides this superior network

 The Information Services portion of the program provides direction to resources for patient education, clinical trials, screening and detection, pediatric oncology, financial modeling, genetic testing/screening and case consultation and review.
 
Strategic Health Cancer Program Care Management
  The program includes some or all of the following:
 
  • Referral to leading Strategic Health Cancer Program oncologists and facilities for treatment, for a second opinion or to confirm a diagnosis by reviewing biopsy slides.
     
  • Superior treatment and access to the most up to date clinical research.
     
  • Strategic Health Cancer Program treatment programs that provide continuous improvement of treatment and management of care through quality improvement and outcome activities.
     
  • Treatment specialized for both children and adults, experts in genetic testing and counseling.
     
  • Dedication and commitment of Strategic Health Cancer Program researchers, physicians, nurses and administrators and all others to fight cancer.
     
  • Case managers with expertise in coordinating care of cancer patients and that have an impact on an individuals ability to manage and understand their ongoing medical needs.
     
  • Provide reliable and easy to understand information to help an individual to make timely and informed decisions about their cancer care.

Strategic Health's clients may utilize our services as one complete, seamless program or can unbundle services and access those that best fit their needs. All cases are prescreened at no charge. Cases are then charged a formal evaluation fee plus a monthly case rate that includes Case Management, Network Access and Cost Containment.
